Ten summers in the same forest at Tai Shui Hang. Six children to one teacher. They come home filthy and ask when we go back.

    What happens if the weather turns

    Amber

    Session runs. Mud, puddles, and a river that's actually moving.

    Red

    Runs, off the river. We move to the Dungeon and the covered build area.

    Black

    Cancelled, full credit. Twelve months to use it, no expiry games.

    Typhoon 1

    Session runs. We watch the 6am update and message the group either way.

    Typhoon 3

    Decision by 7am, straight to your WhatsApp. No news means we're on.

    Very hot

    Session runs, in the water. Shade, stream, and a hose.

    Typhoon 8+

    Cancelled, full credit. Nobody travels.

    Summer kit

    What to put in the bag

    Assume everything they arrive in comes home wet. That's the point.

    • Full change of clothes, plus a spare top
    • Towel
    • Water shoes or old trainers they can ruin
    • Sun cream, on before you arrive
    • Refillable water bottle
    • Sun hat

    There's a handheld shower on site.
